21st May: The Park House Dinner and Dance – Click for more info
When the Rev G Mallows Youngman founded our club 126 years ago (see here for our history), he saw rugby as a means of ensuring that local youths were engaged in meaningful physical activity which would take their minds away from other more worldly pleasures. I cannot assure you that this aim has always been successfully achieved by every individual who has passed through the club in the last 126 years but I am confident that our founder would be justly proud of the club he formed if he were to see us today.
One of the greatest legacies left by our past members is that the club owns the freehold to the land on which we play. To purchase 13 acres of prime real estate on the edge of London would today be beyond the resources of all but the largest and wealthiest clubs in the country.
Park House has a proud history but we can also look to the future with confidence. I am certain that the club will continue to go from strength to strength during the future.
In addition to three Senior Teams, we have a thriving minis section which is open to all children from the age of 5 upwards, please see the Youth Page for more information.
Have a great season!
