We hope that you, your family and friends are all staying safe and well in these difficult times.
It is a shame that the rugby season for our senior and junior teams had to be brought to such an abrupt end but, of course, it is vital that we all do our bit to limit social contact and thereby help the NHS and protect the most vulnerable members of our society. Life and rugby will return to normal and, when we are permitted to do so, we will open the club up for an opportunity for us all to get together.
The Club Committee is doing everything that we can to ensure that the club comes through this difficult period with the minimum impact and ready to resume operations as smoothly as possible. We have been working hard to mitigate costs (whilst ensuring that the club and pitches are properly maintained) and to investigate central and local Government funding and RFU funding.
Some people have been kind enough to ask whether the club will be fundraising – in answer to that, we do not plan to ask club members for funds for the club outside of our normal funding and membership subs (see below). Over the last 3-4 years we have taken great strides to improve the finances of the club and we have reserves that should see us through. Also, we recognise that these are tough times for many people and there are many charities that would be better beneficiaries of any spare cash that you would like to donate.
However, we would encourage our members, supporters and friends to consider normal funding and memberships that we routinely ask members for. Further details are set out below.
Memberships – Playing and Social

We would particularly encourage those that routinely attend the club for matches or functions to purchase social membership. It’s the best way that you can support the club and take advantage of member benefits such as the ability to apply for the international tickets ballot. It also costs little more than £1 per week.

Out 200Club is a monthly prize draw. You can sign up to make a monthly contribution (minimum £5) and each month there are draws of £100 / £50 / £25 prizes. You can find further details here.
